In 2021 we completely renovated and comfortably furnished the holiday home. On 78 square meters, 2 to a maximum of 6 people will find enough space to feel good.
The house has 2 bedrooms, a large living room in which a double bed can be pulled out if necessary, a new kitchen with adjoining dining room and of course a corresponding bathroom. There is also a glazed terrace and a private garden so that you can really relax. From time to time even moose come to visit the property, with red deer being one of the more frequent guests in the garden.
You found us at the coastal region of Norrauppland in middle Sweden (only 1.75 hours by car from Stockholm Airport). For us, the Hållnäs kusten is a Smultronställe
Youll finde our guesthouse outside the 80-inhabitant village of Hållen, only 3 km from the fishing village of Fågelsundet. The next supermarket is 5 km away. The peace and closeness to nature is a dream on the Hållnäs peninsula and combines what one expects from Sweden.
Rough cliffs, sandy beach by the sea, idyllic fishing villages, wonderful lakes + rivers and a unique wildlife.
Hiking trails, natural stairs, bathing areas, cycling (e-bike rental is next door), culture - everything in the immediate vicinity, some within walking distance. But if you need city flair, you can be in the tranquil town of Gävle with a wide range of shopping and dining options in 45 minutes. You dont need a fishing license to fish and you dont have to buy a license on the east coast. Excursions to the Furuvik amusement park, Kungsberget (bike park and downhill skiing in winter) and much more can also be reached in less than 1 hour. A day trip to Stockholm can be tackled by car in 1 3/4 hours or by train from the district town of Tierp if you dont want to look for a parking space. And even racing enthusiasts dont miss out, because the Tierp Arena is considered the most modern dragster track in Europe.
